SAAS
Software as a service (SaaS) is a way of delivering Software/Applications over the network, typically the Internet, as a service. Instead of installing and maintaining software, you can simply access it via the Internet using your login details. Similar to Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., you don't need to buy any hardware or software. There is no maintenance or security issues because everything is maintained by the service provider.
Advantage of SAAS
Cloud Computing is completely different from hosting. In hosting, the environment hardware, software and storage are the same machine but in Cloud computing, everything is different; different hardware and different location (like master server, hypervisor & storage).
Master Server : Master server is called as a control server (Cloud software is installed in this server) and it will control hypervisors and storage device.
Hypervisor :Hypervisor is called as a node. You can add N number of hypervisor/node based on your control server capacity and your requirement.
Storage :You can maintain the storage separately (Data storage).
Everything is Cloud-based in today’s day and age. Cloud resources are shared/ reallocated by multiple users dynamically as per demand. For example, a Cloud service that serve to INDIAN users on INDIAN business hours with some application (mysql), it may be reallocated to the same resource to another user with their business hours with different application (tomcat); it’s called CLOUD computing.
